A Nisse is a mythical creature out of Nordic Folklore dressed in a woolen tunic and red hat. Nisse can make their home in an old barn, tree hollow, or attic. A kind elf that takes care of farm animals, it can also be mischievous and play tricks. A bowl of rice pudding on Christmas Eve makes it happy and content.
